Streets to SandboxesHaven't you ever noticed, how one runs to forget. And in those times when deep thought is required one does not run, but walk? That is why we always liken our relationship with God to a walk.Streets to Sandboxes
We "walk with God."
The only time running is ever paired with God it is to say that one is running from "God." When we are running from God we are not a people who do not believe in Him, only a people who, each for their own individual reasons, feel the must try to forget God and be on their way. They must "out-run" God.
Just like we "out run" our problems.
When the stress becomes too much and we fin

Leaving the Beaten PathI usually come up here, Monte Sano that is, with some plan in mind. Ill take the North plateau loop until it hits the Sinks trail, and then take that until I find Stonecuts. Ill take that one through the caves and then maybe take a break and sit on one of the big rocks to write something. Sometimes that works out, but most of the time Ill see something as I walk or run along the trail; A little side shoot through the trees, or a sign that says stay on marked trails in front of a what looks like a drop off. This small act of leaving behind what the world tells us we need to be happy is invigorating.Did we speak to soon?
Stepping away from the t.v. and the computer, the I-pods and the cell phones that so many proclaim they could not live without, does not in fact feel like abandoning myself but as though I am meeting myself for the first

Adam and Eve, we forget.Quite a few times I've either overheard or taken part in a conversation about how foolish Adam and Eve must have been. They were given everything by God and all He asked was that they not take the fruit from this one tree, because it was bad for them. They could have everything they could desire, but they had to avoid this one tree. Not because it's fruit tasted incredible or because it was better than everything else, but because it was bad for them. How on earth could have been so stupid as to eat it right?Adam and Eve, we forget.
I mean seriously? Just don't eat the fruit God says is bad for you. But they do. Adam and Eve both, they eat it. &nb
